SONIC HEDGEHOG was born in Helsinki, FINLAND. The goal was to play ass-kicking melodic guitar-Rock'n'Roll with flash & balls, and arrogant over-exposed posing.
1998
A quick demo recording resulted in some gigs, and the band did some sold out shows during the spring. After a couple of bass player changes they started rehearsing new songs during the fall.
1999
A four track EP was recorded in March/April. This was when it really began.The EP was titled "None Of Your Business", and it was released as a DAM-CD on MP3.com. In the summer the "None of Your Business-EP" received some radio airplay on Finnish national radio, and in august SONIC HEDGEHOG performed two songs "Live Unplugged" on Radio EXTREM. The band performed around Finland, in clubs and some festivals, and ended the Millennium with a show in Joensuu.
2000
The year 2000 started of with a few shows, one of which was recorded for television. It was featured in a show called GOGO and broadcasted in April. A video for "I Know A Girl" was shot in the fall of 2000, and has been broadcasted on JYRKI (MTV3, Finland) and MOON TV (Finland).
2001
2-track single was recorded during the beginning of the year. A Finnish tour was done in the spring and ended the year with the first tour abroad (Sweden).
